Looking back to Year 1 Semester 1

During Year 1 semester 1 at university, I have done three projects which are Redheads & Royalty, Make-up and Hair Postiche and Digital Image Production 1. On below are the photos from my projects and I have shown a review of my works during Semester 1.

Contemporary Elizabethans make-up
Looking back to my first make-up project, at that time I was very nervous about my partner's makeup look that I need to create on her. But now thinking back, I have more confident and I believe I can do better than before. To improve, I would have done the black liners more evenly.

My Contemporary Elizabethans Make-up Design:
My final design facechart
On above is my design and my favourite part of the look is the idea of the egg shells that I applied on one side of the face to show the damage skin of the Elizabethans because the use of their makeup products and this helps my design to link to the history of the Elizabethans. To improve, on my blog, I can talk more in depth about why I'm using eggshells on my design.
The make-up is done by my assessment partner Mihaela.

Contemporary Elizabethans Hair Design
On below are the photos of my first hair assessment and I have done Mihaela's hair design on her. After several practices, I'm proud with the results and I feel successful about the outcome. To improve, I should place the flowers at the back more balance on both side.

On above is my design's hair chart and on below are the photos of me with my hair designs which was done by Mihaela. I'm pleased with the texture and the outcome of the final look.

Digital Image Production 1: Monochromatic colour photo shoot

Moodboard
To improve, I think the moodboard is a bit too crowded, so I will place less images on it next time.
The theme of my photo shoot is pink and happiness. I'm pleased with the photo shoot as I like the expressions of my model which I think definitely present the mood of happiness.
I can improved by apply a bolder pink eye shadow to give more sharp and contrast look.
